The process begins in the creative consciousness of the artist. Sometimes, it is also an answer to the passions of the heart, but always, the results are forms and shapes and images that reach out to stir the emotions and catch the eye of the beholder. Metal, mined from the life-giving earth; cleaned and purified with the heat of modern technology; liquified again to pour into the dark sand that contains the imprint of the new form - cooling and hardening once again into the creation conceived by the artist.

Polished, sometimes joined and finished - the process continues until the metamorphosis is complete.

Casting sculpture is transformation. Solid to liquid tosolid again ... coll to hot to cool again. It is a bridge to our past, with remembrances of ancient cultures and past civilizations.
The process is unique to humankind.
The process re-affirms our humanity.
